British Mixed Seniors    

The BMSGA was established in 2020

Interested in socially competitive mixed golf as you get a little older? Then this is the place for you.

The British Mixed Seniors Golf Association will seek to provide a platform for senior golfers to compete in mixed events all over the country. Men 50+ and Women 50+ on the 1st of January of the current year with  competition combined handicaps of 36 and under.

The emphasis is on building relationships and new friendships in a competitive and fun environment.  

There are Mixed opens and Senior opens but there are very few Mixed Senior opens. The aim of the  BMSGA will be to promote Mixed Senior golf. Youngsters will have to wait to join! 

There will be an Order of Merit where the winners will be offered a weeks stay in an apartment in Dunas Douradas, Portugal.

Initially we played 2 day events, staying at hotels. 2 days of competition with the option of a practice day prior to the main event. You can of course stay longer and sample the delights of the area if you so wish.

We have since evolved and are playing members clubs with accommodation up to the individuals.

We have played Slaley Hall, Hanbury Manor, Forest Pines, Forest of Arden, Shrigley Hall,Silloth, Lancaster, Windemere, Ipswich,The Oxfordshire,The Vale (Wales), Eden Valley Tournament, St Pierre and entered the Scottish mixed week as a group in the UK and West Cliffs/Praia del Rey , Pestana Alvor and Pinheiros altos/San Lorenzo in Portugal and Belek in Turkey so far and next up:​​
